She's probably my favorite author. I was introduced to her in college when I had the pleasure of taking a literature course on science fiction and fantasy as an elective my senior year. We read the Earthsea Trilogy (which I still call a trilogy thanks to that class, despite knowing there are more than 3 books now) which I found engrossing. I've enjoyed every book I've ever read by her, which seems to run the gamut on not only simple versus complex, but also children/young adult versus adult aimed stories. I haven't read The Lathe of Heaven yet, I'll have to go looking for it!
